Evening Study Center

Evening Study Center logo of two hands holding the worldOur Evening Study Center offers educational classes for parents that want to improve their English skills. The goal of the Evening Study Center is to support parents in communicating in English, so that they can be more involved in their child's education. We offer four levels of English taught by certified Garland ISD  teachers.

Our study center can also support family members of English learners who want to earn a high school diploma equivalency and better career opportunities. Through our partnership with Dallas County Community College Eastfield, families can work with us to prepare for the Spanish GED test.  We also offer an L-Civics class to parents or guardians of English learners who plan to apply for naturalization (citizenship).  We will hold L-Civics classes in English, one with Spanish support and one with Vietnamese support.
